We at Katabatic believe that our dogs are not only our Pets but are our companions through life and we strive to keep them active and fulfilled in anyway we can.

As Kura and Indy are now sufficiently mature enough to begin working, we've begun training them to pull a rig. After taking on board lots of advice from our close friends in the Malamute community, who have been working dogs for many season's and year's, we decided to build their fitness up gradually.

Over the last few months both have been enjoying Scooter training and have taken to it very quickly, enjoying the new experiences and exciting places they now go!
The next challenge will be on a full sized rig so watch this space.....
