Welcome to the Home of Katabatic Alaskan Malamutes, a Kennel Club accredited breeder...     To introduce ourselves we are Kat & Kyle. We are based in Huntingdon and we live with our amazing pack of Alaskan Malamutes and Cairn Terrier.    I have been involved with dogs all my life, since the age of eight I have worked and trained Border Collies, the first dog I did agility with was called Moss taking many Junior titles, even working in front of Royalty in the Barbour challenge.  Since then I have been associated with Cairn Terriers, Whippets and many more.    Both me and my husband are very keen on extreme sports and the outside lifestyle.  It was these sports which lead us to Malamutes..my husband first seeing them in the French alps climbing..and myself, first seeing a Mal at a drop zone sky diving in the States!    These magical animals captivated our hearts..and since then its been an on going love affair!    On this site you will find a range of information regarding the Alaskan Malamute breed, what is needed to look after a Malamute  and information to help you make your mind up on whether you feel you could be the right person to take one of these amazing, spirited dogs.                        [ Website last updated: 20.01.12- Our dogs, news, puppies]
